Welcome to Unixheads.org
Mission: To do our part to foster the growth of Open Source software in order to provide users with better solutions, more control over their systems, and create competition in the market place to closed source companies.
Services: We provide an array of free services to the Open Source community, and other non-profit organizations (web hosting, mirroring services, mailing list, etc).
Development: We are involved with several Open Source projects, and are currently working on some in house projects focusing on Internet data mining and web applications.

9 March 2010, 8:10PM MST:
A reboot of the server was required to get the necessary information for 3Ware support, downtime was about 5 minutes.
6 March 2010, 5:07PM MST:
Server is Back: We seem to be having trouble with the 3Ware controller. Thanks to Dan at ISC for sorting this, it took a power reset to get the card to be recognized again. Time to open a case with 3Ware.
SERVER OUTAGE: The mirror server is down, it would seem the BIOS does not ack the RAID as a boot device. We thought we had this sorted from the last time this happened, however it appears it is not. We have a ticket open with ISC to look into it. We will update this page as we find out more information.
